I'm the mother of Mohd Elyasa bin Mohd Rawoof whom attended the Mendaki Tuition at Mayflower Primary School, Ang Mo Kio.  I would like to express my gratitude to the tuition teachers, Mr Ibrahim (Maths) and Mr Nizam (English).
 
My son enjoyed his lessons at the tuition centre.  He made many new friends and started to show interest in his school work.
 
His marks have improved alot.  Before joining the tuition class, he used to get B3 for both English and Mathematic subjects.  But during the final exams this year, he managed to score B2 for both subjects.
 
Once again, thumbs up to both Mr Ibrahim and Mr Nizam for doing a good job !!  Keep it up....

Pada bulan july yang lalu saya ada kirim email berkenaan berita harian dan saya juga ada menyebut nama seorang pegawai sebagai puan Soraya. Disini saya ingin memohon maaf atas kesilapan nama, pegawai yang saya maksudkan ialah puan Sohana. Dan saya sekeluarga juga ingin mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih atas budi baik puan Sohana dan mendaki kerana sudi mengirimkan borang permohonan TAA. Terus terang saya katakan disini memang keluarga saya mengalami kesepitan wang cuma untuk masa sekarang ni kami ingin mengatasi masaalah ni sendiri. Dear Dr Yaacob Ibrahim,

I would like to thank the staff at Yayasan Mendaki for the good work they have done through the years. Time and again Mendaki has proven itself to be able to focus its efforts in uplifting the underprivileged Malays/Muslims and putting them on a course for excellence. It may please you to know that I am one of the many whom Mendaki has helped through the years.

Recently I completed my PhD at NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering and was nominated to be the Valedictorian of my cohort. As I finished my speech that night, I suddenly realized that I had completely forgotten Mendaki's role in my success. Now that it's over I sorely regret this apparent show of ingratitude. I had an excellent platform to highlight Mendaki's role in our community and I failed to capitalize it. I am truly sorry!

 Dear Madam Rahmah,

I am pleased to inform you that I have successfully graduated from my Diploma in Health Science (Nursing) at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I would like to take this opportunity to thank MENDAKI as they had granted my Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy Scheme with 70% subsidy for my tuition fee in May 2005. 

It had benefited me throughout my 3 years in polytechnic. Alhamdulillah, I have graduated with remarkable results.

If it wasn't for the scheme, I don't think I could made it to polytechnic. Insyaallah, I will pursue to greater heights for my studies.

Anak saya Darwish Ruzain Bin Ridwan telah menghadiri Seminar Success in PSLE Maths oleh Prof. Nambiar pada tahun ini di Sekolah Rendah East Spring. Saya sebagai ibunya ingin mengucapkan syabas kepada anda semua di Mendaki dan juga Prof. Nambiar dan dengan izin Allah Darwish telah mendapat A* bagi Ilmu Hisab dan 3 A untuk Bahasa Melayu, Inggeris dan Sains dengan jumlah aggregate 250. Darwish juga merupakan 10% pelajar terbaik di sekolahnya.

Sebelum ini Darwish hanya mendapat Gred C dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Hisab semenjak di darjah 5 and juga SA1 di darjah 6. Tetapi markahya melonjak dengan baik semasa keputusan Prelim dan untuk mendapat A* di peperiksaan PSLE adalah di luar jangkaan kami. Apabila kami menanyakan kepada Darwish faktor apakah yang telah membuatnya mendapat keputusan yang baik dan dia memberitahu kami teknik yang telah di ajar oleh Prof. Nambiar telah banyak membantunya. Darwish juga tidak menyangka dengan keputusan nya. Oleh itu saya berharap agar Mendaki dapat meneruskan seminar ini dan sampaikan Salam Terimakasih kami yang tidak terhingga kepada Prof. Nambiar. Sekian.
