Synopsis : It is said that parents are more stressed out than their child is in preparing for the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE). It is tough but it does not always have to be that way. Fresh from the successful launch of the “Brunch with MENDAKI” series which kicked off in January this year, we are pleased to invite parents for our second edition of Brunch on Sunday, 3 April 2011 at the Singapore Polytechnic Auditorium at 10:00am.
Parents can pick up useful tips on helping their child prepare for PSLE, stress-free. MENDAKI wants to share with these families on how to manage this pressure over a refreshing brunch together with their loved ones.
Through this series of brunches we hope to share with parents useful information, tips, strategies that will help benefit their children in their learning journey. For the students, the session will offer guidance through exploring ways in overcoming their fears and managing expectations.
The Brunch will end with a special treat for all with a special viewing of MENDAKI’s pilot episode of S.O.S Matematik, a TV programme to help our community create a Math-friendly home environment for their children. Each episode sees a family with school-going kids undergoing problems with all things related to Mathematics. With the aid of a team of experts comprising of MENDAKI’s Tiga M trainers and Mathematics educator, Dr Yeap Ban Har, we get to see how the progress of each family going through various problems.
