InfoComm Technology Executive (2-year contract)

The ICT Executive supports the information technology strategies of Yayasan MENDAKI by managing the related tasks in the ICT scope including procurement, involvement in projects, and events support.

Main responsibilities include:
Deliver and setup the ICT devices/resources at designated events or satellite centers
Assist and supervise ICT vendors when carrying deployment or development tasks in HQ
Liaising extensively with external or internal clients
Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical      compatibility and user satisfaction
Provide training and user manuals to users of a new system
Handle entire project cycles and manage clients
Any other duties as directed and assigned by the Reporting Officer

Good degree from a recognized institution in any related subject
Familiar with networking, telephony, connectivity, and incident & asset management
Familiar with Business As Usual (BAU) for internal systems, such as desktops to servers, and printers to PDA

Community Outreach Executive Assistant – MENDAKI @ Heartlands (1-Year Contract)

Based in the eastern part of Singapore, you will assist the Centre Coordinator in the development and implementation of community outreach and engagement strategies unique to the centre. This will also include overseeing the day to day operations of the centre. You will work closely with the Centre Coordinator to increase participation in programmes and services provided at the centre, identify community interests, needs and issues, and plan and deliver a wide range of activities in response to those diverse needs.

Main responsibilities include:
Establish and maintain good working relationships with Grassroots volunteers and community partners to help identify community needs and reach out to families with school going children, minimize duplication and promote partnership working
Assist the Centre Coordinator in managing and promoting outreach activities, ensuring that they are geared to the specific needs of the local community
Develop in collaboration with local communities a lively, challenging and wide array of learning opportunities including workshops, events and support materials for both parents and their school going children
Contribute in establishing and maintaining systems for monitoring and evaluating services through the collection and analysis of public and other feedback
Any other duties assigned by the Centre Coordinator

A good Diploma from a recognized institution
Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office applications
Passion for outreach, with a prior experience in the social services sector an advantage
Pleasant and friendly disposition, with strong interpersonal and communication skills both in English and Malay
A strong passion to work in the Social Service Sector

Community Outreach Executive

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Arrange for outreach sessions and intake assessment interviews with incarcerated persons with school-going children, within Singapore Prisons
  • Work closely with families of incarcerated persons, through the facilitation of appropriate assistance provided by both national and community agencies as well as referrals to internal departments
  • Monitor the progress of families of incarcerated persons and the various assistance rendered for a duration of three months
  • Provide regular progress and case closure reports to Singapore Prisons Service

Secondary responsibilities include:
  • Conduct intake assessment interviews for families referred to Yayasan MENDAKI by Members of Parliament
  • Facilitate the provision of appropriate assistance provided by both national and community agencies as well as referrals to internal departments

  • A good degree from a recognised institution
  • An independent worker and a go-getter who takes initiatives with good communication and writing skills
  • Outgoing, energetic, self-motivated
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the social service sector
  • A strong passion and a track record for outreach work

Deputy Director Digital Transformation

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will lead the team on digital transformation initiatives of the organization, its community partners and stakeholders. 

Main responsibilities include:
  • Being the subject matter expert in digital technologies for community service sector with strong and deep knowledge of its business functions, business process, business models and ecosystems
  • Understand the needs and challenges of the organisation and community-based partners, working closely with key stakeholders to define, analyse and develop business process optimisation and automation strategies
  • Develop and maintain the digital plans, deployment roadmaps, initiatives and technical architectures to guide the transformation of target organisational partners and community groups
  • Regularly conduct the reviews of digital technology landscape and existing applications portfolio to improve operational efficiency of the organisation 
  • Work with industry partners to develop and implement pilots of digital solutions 
  • Establish and enhance partnership with stakeholders, grassroots organisations and related government agencies, community clubs, educational institutions and other community-based associations.

  • At least a Degree in InfoComm or any related subject from a recognized institution;
  • At least 7 to 10 years' in a senior management position with relevant professional experience
  • Experience working with the highest level of management and knowledgeable to handle business management through resource planning and technology initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, partnership management and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in business innovation and analysis, business process re-engineering and digitalisation process
  • Demonstrable leadership competencies, team-oriented, interpersonal skills, creative problem solving, results-driven and meticulous
  • High level of organisational skills with an ability to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous and organised with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong passion to work in the social service sector
