Your CPF savings will be distributed to your nominee(s) in cash by default 💵We are aware of a WhatsApp message circulating, which says that when you pass away, your CPF savings will be transferred to your nominee(s)’ CPF accounts to be paid out through monthly payouts once they turn 65.❌This is not true ❌. There is no policy change.By default, when you make a nomination, your CPF savings will be distributed in cash to your nominee(s) 💵However, IF you wish to distribute your CPF savings to your nominee(s)’ CPF accounts, you can opt for the Enhanced Nomination Scheme.You can make or update your CPF nomination online easily at cpf.gov.sg/nomination. You will need your Singpass, your nominee(s)’ details and the details of your two witnesses.
