Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) Scholarship (Degree Programme)

“In view of the heightened COVID-19 pandemic, the MDIS Scholarship & Bursary Awards Ceremony 2020 will not take place and there will be no scholarship offer this year. You may wish to consider our interest-free Study Loan Schemes as an alternative.”

 

MDIS Scholarships (Degree) are awarded through the self-help groups such as Eurasian Association (EA), Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) and Yayasan MENDAKI. Yayasan MENDAKI invites Muslim students from low-income families to apply for the above scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to Muslim Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents
  • All applicants must meet entry requirements for relevant academic programme. The list of programmes is subject to change by MDIS.
  • Total net monthly family income must not exceed $3,500 and $850 per capita (excluding CPF), whichever is lower.
  • Applicants must not in receipt of any other scholarship / bursary
  • Existing MDIS students are not eligible to apply for the MDIS Scholarship (Degree)

Value
2 scholarships are available. Each MDIS Scholarship (Pre-Degree) will provide the following:

  • Tuition fee up to a maximum of $25,000 (excluding non-tuition fee, supplementary exam fee and re-module fee)
  • Waiver of application fee

Condition

  • No service bond or contract is required for the MDIS Scholarship (Pre-Degree).

Completed forms with supporting documents must be submitted to Yayasan MENDAKI. Incomplete forms will not be considered and processed.

Only short-listed applicants will be called for an interview. Successful applicants must complete the course and pass the necessary examinations or be liable to pay for breach of sponsorship.
