PSB - MENDAKI Scholarship

Introduction
The scholarship was introduced in March 2014. The PSB Academy – MENDAKI Scholarship is a collaborative effort towards enhancing the Malay/Muslim community’s educational journey. Yayasan MENDAKI, together with PSB Academy, is taking the opportunity to increase the provision of academic opportunities to the Malay/Muslim community through the joint scholarship programme. It is awarded to students with outstanding academic achievements and provide high calibre students with the opportunity to develop their full potential. The scholarship is awarded to qualified students on the basis of academic merit, leadership potential, special talents or other personal characteristics in students.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma Programmes

  • Muslim Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to the institution.
  • GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent
  • GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level (for applicants pursuing Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences – specialising in Exercising and Fitness & Sports Coaching, and Diploma in Sport & Leisure Management)
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent
  • Exhibit leadership qualities

Degree Programmes

  • Muslim Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to the institution.
  • Private and Polytechnic diploma (cumulative GPA: 3.0)
  • GCE ‘A’ Level (average grade: B) or equivalent
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent
  • Exhibit leadership qualities

Condition

  • Candidates will only be considered upon receipt of all fully-completed required documents from the applicants
  • Interviews will be held for shortlisted candidates and being eligible does not guarantee a placement.
  • Shortlisting of candidates for interview and the awarding of recipients are based on the decision made by the PSB Academy’s scholarship committee
