Senior Manager Education (Perform in School)

The Senior Manager assists the HOD in managing and leading the department to achieve its desired goals and outcomes. The officer is responsible for the review of education programmes and the implementation of review recommendations to enhance the quality of MENDAKI’s education programmes at the Perform in School department, with a focus on the MENDAKI Tuition Scheme (MTS).

Main responsibilities:
  • Assist the HOD in managing and leading the department to achieve its desired outcomes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the department work plan
  • Supervise, mentor and develop team
  • Conceptualize, develop/design new and innovative learning support initiatives and ensure smooth implementation of educational programmes
  • Collaborate with service providers to develop and conduct relevant educational programmes
  • Conduct periodic reviews of programmes and make necessary recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge in areas of research and community issues relating to development in early learning  and parental involvement

  • A good Degree in any field from a recognised institution
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in a managerial/ supervisory position
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills in English and Malay

Organisational Development & Human Resource Executive Assistant (2-year contract)

The Executive Assistant supports the Senior Executive Officer in ensuring the efficient planning and execution of organisation development functions. The officer is largely expected to work in an office environment. The officer may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support in the running of events.

Main responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support in management and department meetings
  • Provide administrative support in organisation HR processes such as general HR administration, staff welfare, staff development and staff recognition
  • Coordinate the logistical arrangements for internal and external meetings
  • Assist with department budgeting exercise in consultation with supervisors

  • Diploma in Human Resource or Business Administration from a recognised institution
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience in HR or OD
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Able to work independently and in teams

Partner Relations & Recognition Executive Officer

The officer will support the Manager in engaging volunteers and stakeholders. The officer is also responsible for the development and execution of engagement strategies, events and engagement programmes. 

Main responsibilities:
  • Share with stakeholders accurate, timely, relevant information on MENDAKI
  • Represent MENDAKI during networking platforms.
  • Develop effective outreach strategies to connect stakeholders, via the various social media platforms, to raise awareness of MENDAKI’s programmes and services and promote volunteerism.
  • Actively recruit and assess the suitability of volunteers to be mentors for Mentoring@MTS participants and create platforms for effective engagement and regular monitoring by working together with the officer in charge of mentoring
  • Disseminate and coordinate ad hoc volunteering opportunities to ensure sufficient support on MENDAKI events
  • Timely preparation of reports for management reporting and prepare  budget for relevant programmes/events

  • Degree from a recognised institution
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with excellent administrative, communications and inter-personal skills
  • Independent, energetic and self-motivated 
  • 2-3  years’ experience in an administrative position
  • Strong passion to work in the Social Service sector

Future Ready Executive Officer (2-year contract)

The Executive Officer supports the Senior Manager in promoting the Future Ready initiatives to the community as well as helping post-secondary to tertiary students and young professionals prepare for the future.  The officer is responsible for the efficient and smooth operation of the department’s programmes and initiatives. Officer is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel frequently for meetings.

Main responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement Future Ready programmes and initiatives for youth
  • Lead the organisation of collaterals, resources, and manpower for the successful delivery of programmes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Future Ready programmes through the collection and analysis of feedback
  • Conduct reviews of programmes and recommend areas of improvement or adaptation to suit the needs of youth 
  • Any other duties as directed and assigned by the Reporting Officer

  • Degree in Business Administration/ Management  or any related subject from a recognized institution
  • At least two to three years' relevant professional experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels
  • Good project management and time management skills
  • Good data analytic and report writing skills
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

School Ready Executive Officer (2-year Contract)

The Executive Officer role is responsible to formulate and execute department’s programmes and initiatives for parents’ of children between the age of 0 to 6. You will be required to execute in the formulation, implementation, monitoring of programmes, outreach and analyzing information/ data for reports.

  • Degree from a recognized institution, preferably in Business Administration or Sociology
  • 2 – 3 years’ working experience
  • An independent worker and a go-getter who takes initiatives with a good interpersonal, communications and writing skills
  • A strong passion to work in the Social Service Sector
