Future Ready Executive Officer

The job holder is responsible for the efficient and smooth operation of the programmes and initiatives of initiatives in Future Ready Department such as Future Ready public education initiatives.

Main responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement and evaluate public education initiatives in Future Ready Dept and ensuring smooth and efficient delivery so as to meet the organisational workplan within the agreed budget and timeline
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary community issues especially on education and recommend action plan(s)/programme(s) to address these issues
  • Conduct periodic reviews of programmes and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Establish and enhance partnership with institutions in outreaching for new partners
  • Develop marketing collaterals to increase awareness of the programme 
  • Regular maintenance of database
  • Engage and appraise manpower resources/ volunteers for programme implementation.
  • Budget preparation

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related subject from a recognised institution
  • Relevant experience in partnership management or similar capacity
  • Highly organized, self-starters with good interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills
  • A strong passion to work in the social service sector

Communications Executive Assistant

The job holder is responsible in developing and delivering corporate communications plans in support of the organisation’s vision and mission. The job holder is also to deliver all activities and tasks assigned to deadline and in accordance with pre-determined budget and quality standards.

Main responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organisation’s corporate image and provide design inputs into all collaterals and promotional materials 
  • Manage and co-ordinate the production of all print and online collaterals, publications and/or promotional materials
  • Manage production of events marketing collaterals based on theme and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Co-ordinate with departments on collateral distribution for external events or booths 
  • Source and secure vendors for videography and photography and ensures proper record management of YM events’ photos and videos
  • Liaising with vendors such as the media, caterer, photographer and videographer to participate in the event and any other duties as assigned in the relations to the event
  • Establish and manage media/publicity for the departments/ networks/ events/ programmes assigned by Supervisor
  • Liaise with media partners

  • Diploma in Communications or Media Relations from any recognized institution
  • At least two to three years' relevant professional experience
  • Required Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to work on own initiative and multi-task with minimum supervision
  • Flexible and able to work well in teams
  • Able to work on tight deadlines and on weekends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Malay preferred

InfoComm Technology Executive Officer - System Analyst (2-year contract)

The job holder will support the information technology strategies of Yayasan MENDAKI by managing the related tasks in ICT scope including involvement in projects and events support.

Main responsibilities:
  • Defines application problem by conferring with staff; evaluating procedures and processes
  • Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
  • Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers
  • Validates results by testing programs.
  • Ensures operation by training personnel; providing support.
  • Provides reference by writing documentation
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Project & Client Management
  • Understanding software development lifecycle
  • Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs
  • Conducting requirements analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met
  • Drawing up, supervising and documenting testing schedule for complete system
  • Overseeing implementation of a new system including data migration
  • Planning and working flexibly to deadlines
  • Providing training and user manuals to users of a new system
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality

  • Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
  • 3-5 work experience in Project Management and Incident Management
  • Advance knowledge of software development life cycle protocols, Project Management
  • Pleasant and friendly disposition, with good interpersonal and communication skills both in English and Malay
  • A strong passion to work in the social service Sector

Organisational Development Executive Officer (2-Year Contract)

The job holder will provide support to the Community Leaders Forum (CLF) Secretariat in the development and implementation of all CLF’s strategic and operational initiatives.

Main responsibilities:
  • Assist to manage organisation records and document repository system and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Assist to prepare and evaluate data, information and reports on corporate performance and recommend appropriate actions to support business decision.
  • Assist in the organisation’s business process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support for organisation management meetings. And ensure timely completion and dissemination of meeting documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the organisation to deliver programmes and projects.
  • Assist with department’s budgeting exercise.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Organisational Development or equivalent from any recognised institution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organized, good interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with data analysis and business process re-engineering will be an advantage
  • Proficient and has good communication skills in both English and Malay
  • A strong passion to work in the social service sector
