     PSLE MATHS COACHES PSLE Maths coaches learnt more about the relationship building aspect of coaching and applied it to their coaching sessions with their students. Despite being unable to conduct face-to-face coaching with students, these volunteers ensured the provision of support in various Maths topics were not hindered and disrupted. They also continued to build positive relationships with the students under their care albeit virtually.   YOUTH MENTORS Youth mentors learnt about Gift-Centred Mentoring (GCM) approach, a mentoring model that focuses on the concept of uncovering an individual’s ‘gifts’ and building a community with youths. The concept includes elements such as mentor’s role and stages, rapport building, effective communications and goal setting. Equipped with these knowledge and skills, our youth mentors continued to provide guidance and support to their mentees virtually. They also attended training sessions online to further strengthen their skill sets.
