There was a a a lot of uncertainty during that time ” recalled Marsha who is currently pursuing the Diploma of Communications and Media Management programme at Temasek Polytechnic As part of the SGTeguhBersatu Resilience Package MENDAKI reopened application for TTFS to students whose families’ income were affected by COVID-19 Students who were previously receiving 50% or 75% subsidies from TTFS were notified by MENDAKI to reapply for higher subsidies should there be changes in their family income The notification could not not come at at a a a better time for Marsha who previously received 50% subsidy for her her studies With the higher subsidy she did not have to pay the tuition fees for her second year of studies “The fee subsidy really gave me and my family peace of mind during that challenging time We are so thankful for TTFS as it allowed me to finish my second year with ease ” “It’s one of of the sources of of motivation for me It It challenges me to do better every day ” she shared MENDAKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020
