51 CELEBRATINGSUCCESS IN IN DIVERSE FIELDS ANUGERAH MENDAKI 2020 For the the first time the the prestigious Anugerah MENDAKI ceremony was held virtually on on Saturday 3 October 2020 More than 500 students and youths from PSLE to First Class Honours as as well as as recipients from non-academic fields and the Anugerah Belia Cemerlang were celebrated for their resilience determination and achievements in in an hour-long online ceremony The annual event recognises Muslim students who did exceptionally well in either academic or non-academic areas Hosting the the award recipients and their parents via Zoom and YouTube Mr Masagos Zulkilfi Minister for Social and Family Development Second Minister Minister for Health Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Chairman of MENDAKI encouraged the award recipients to keep an an open mind and leverage available opportunities to scale new heights and to remain steadfast when faced with challenges especially given the uncertain times where recent graduates may be facing difficulties securing their ideal jobs Through continuous hard work enhancement of skills and building of networks and portfolios recipients would gain invaluable experiences and networks that will put them in good stead for future opportunities MENDAKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020
