67 The Professional Networks @ MENDAKI was introduced to engage Malay/Muslim professionals as part of our efforts to harness community assets and tap on their expertise to support various programmes by MENDAKI and M3 As professionals who can play an an an important role in in helping to shape the community’s future MENDAKI hopes such engagements will facilitate their contributions to the the community as we move towards achieving our vision of of a a a Community of of Success Through these engagements the the professionals are introduced to volunteering opportunities with MENDAKI and M3 These include opportunities to be mentors to to to the various mentoring programmes under M3 and as speakers at MENDAKI’s Future Ready platforms We hope they inspire youths with with their presence and provide them with with support and encouragement to achieve their aspirations In 2020 115 professionals were involved in in the various initiatives Of these 28 professionals supported MENDAKI by organising seven programmes They included the ‘Future of ’ Series and Next Stop Series & Seminar 2020 that targeted MTS secondary students students tertiary students students as well as early entrants to the workforce At the same time 87 professionals took part in programmes specially curated for them MENDAKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020
