ESTABLISHING STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS Memorandum of Understanding between MENDAKI and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) An MOU was signed with SUSS in January 2018 to monitor and study the factors impacting the academic performance of MENDAKI Tuition Scheme (MTS) students. Through the partnership, and using data analytics in the research study, preliminary findings provided useful insights into understanding some of the potential obstacles faced by MTS students. With a strengthened partnership in 2019, the team continues to carry out a more in-depth study on MTS students’ performance. The joint research project between MENDAKI and SUSS on Identifying determinants and making predictions of MENDAKI Tuition Scheme (MTS) students’ academic performance – a sequential explanatory and data mining approach is funded by Temasek Foundation.
