42 MENDAKI also worked closely with the schools to facilitate and expedite the applications for new laptop under the NEU-PC Plus Programme Mdm Shirhaini’s 12-year-old son Mohamad Shaquile Andri was ecstatic to receive the device “I can now do my schoolwork faster and join the live Zoom classes I was also very happy to see my friends although not in person ” Mdm Shirhaini also shared that the laptop meant a a a a lot more than just providing a a a a device for learning “It’s also important for our children to learn how to to never give up (in their education) Learning to to adapt is very very important given how fast everything changes ” A total of 200 laptops were loaned to to to students from low-income families to aid in in their HBL needs Due to a high number of requests from our beneficiaries MENDAKI managed to secure an additional 100 laptops to to meet the needs of our families CEO MENDAKI Mdm Zuraidah joined staff in in in sorting and preparing materials to to be packed with the laptops MENDAKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020
