Education Trust Fund – Jamae Kalvi Bursary, ITE

The scheme was introduced in February 2022. It is to support deserving Muslim students, prioritising those from financially disadvantaged families, enrolled in local Institutes of Technical Education (ITEs). It is to encourage these students to continue to excel in their studies.


Application Period

18 Jan 2026 – 30 Apr 2026 (Academic Year : Apr 2026 - Feb 2027)

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Muslim Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
  2. Pursuing a full-time Polytechnic programme offered by any local Polytechnic
  3. Have a Net Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$1000 and below
  4. Good academic results in his/her course of study
  5. Not in receipt of any other bursaries

Mandatory Documents Required for Your Application

  1. Applicant’s latest academic transcript results clearly indicating:
    1. Full Name
    2. Name of Course & Level and
    3. Subject Score or CGPA
  2. Proof of student confirmation into Institution clearly indicating:
    1. Full Name
    2. Name of Course and
    3. Start Date
  3. In no more than 150 words, share your achievements & outline your goals for the next 5 & 10 years. Please submit your response in MS Word format.
  4. Other supporting documents if any.
