The scheme was introduced in 2026. It is intended to provide scholarships award to deserving Malay/Muslim students who have achieved good academic results to pursue or continue their academic studies in Singapore.

Application Period

25 Feb 2026 – 30 Apr 2026 (Academic Year : Apr 2026 - Feb 2027)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Malay/Muslim, a Singapore Citizen or a permanent resident (PR) of Singapore.
2. Has achieved outstanding results in his/her academic studies
   1. Obtained a term grade point average (GPA) of not less than 3.5 of 4.0 for the latest term or
   2. Grade equivalent for other national level examinations, and/or
   3. Pursuing/will pursue full time Maritime or Engineering courses in the 5 local Polytechnics:
      • Nanyang Polytechnic
      • Ngee Ann Polytechnic
      • Republic Polytechnic
      • Singapore Polytechnic
      • Temasek Polytechnic
3. Has strong leadership qualities as demonstrated in Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) and National Service (NS) if applicable.
4. Not in receipt of any other scholarships or bursaries.

Terms and Conditions

1. Only complete applications with all mandatory documents provided will be processed. Applications that do not fulfill the eligibility requirements will be rejected.
2. Applicants will be shortlisted based on a competitive evaluation among eligible applicants. Do note that fulfilling the eligibility requirements does not automatically result in an award.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
4. The Scholarship is intended to support the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for institution-organised educational activities.

   3. Subject Score or GPA/CGPA
2. Proof of student confirmation into Institution clearly indicating:
   1. Full Name
   2. Name of Course and
   3. Start Date
3. In no more than 250 words, share your achievements & outline your goals for the next 5 & 10 years.
4. Other supporting documents if any.

2. Processing will take up to 4 weeks.
3. Shortlisted applicants will be notified.
