Education Trust Fund – Barakath Bursary, ITE

The scheme was introduced in August 2021. It is to support deserving Muslim students, prioritising those from financially disadvantaged families, enrolled in local ITEs.  It is to encourage these students to continue to excel in their studies.

Application Period

18 Jan 2026 – 30 Apr 2026 (Academic Year : Apr 2026 - Feb 2027)

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Muslim Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)
2. Has achieved good academic results in his/her academic studies
3. Pursuing full-time ITE course offered by any of the 3 local ITEs:
   1. ITE College Central,
   2. ITE College East
   3. ITE College West.
4. Has a gross household per capita income (PCI) of S$1000 and below
5. Not in receipt of any other bursaries.
