The scholarship was introduced in 1995. It aims to reward top students who had performed exceptionally well at both GCE ‘A’ level examinations and Polytechnics.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Singapore Muslim Citizens or Singapore Permanent Resident.
- Pursuing first-year studies in a full-time University degree course offered by any of following six local Universities:
- National University of Singapore (NUS)
- Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
- Singapore Management University (SMU)
- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
- Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
- Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
- Obtained 3 distinctions (including General Paper) in the GCE ‘A’ level examination OR a Polytechnic Diploma with a Certificate of Merit.
- Obtained a minimum aggregate of 37 points for the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
- Male applicants must have completed their National Service.
- Good records of active participation in co-curricular activities (CCA).
- Not in receipt of other Scholarships.

- Quantum : $4,000 per year
Terms and Conditions
- Only complete applications with all mandatory documents provided will be processed. Applications that do not fulfill the eligibility requirements will be rejected.
- Applicants will be shortlisted based on a competitive evaluation among eligible applicants. Do note that fulfilling the eligibility requirements does not automatically result in an award.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
- The Scholarship is intended to support the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for institution-organised educational activities.
- Successful applicants need to maintain a minimum cGPA of 3.5/5 throughout their course of study.
- Recipients are required to submit a copy of their examination results to MENDAKI annually before the funds can be disburse

- Proof of student confirmation into Institution clearly indicating:
- Full Name
- Name of Course and
- Start Date
- In no more than 250 words, share your achievements & outline your goals for the next 5 & 10 years.
- Other supporting documents if any.
