MENDAKI’s Fund-Raising Events in 2023

In 2023, Yayasan MENDAKI (“MENDAKI”) has received steadfast support from individuals, corporations, and community partners that not only fuels our programmes and initiatives but also reaffirms the shared commitment to uplifting the Malay/Muslim community.

MENDAKI ran various online fundraising efforts across different platforms (i.e. MyMENDAKI Portal, Give.Asia, Giving.sg, Benevity), where we raised $230,000 collectively through the several crowdfunding campaigns, including Gift-a-Dream (year-long), Ramadan (Mar 2023), Hari Raya Aidilfitri (Apr 2023), and Giving Week (Dec 2023) campaigns. We also organised a fundraising event for Education Trust Fund (ETF) in support of the Friday Mosque Collections, raising $135,848.

New and current individual and corporate donors were also engaged to contribute towards our effort to build the ETF Endowment Fund. These efforts helped raise more than $4.5 million in total.

These efforts have enabled MENDAKI to raise a total of over $5 million in 2023. Our heartfelt gratitude to our donors and volunteers who have generously supported numerous fundraising efforts to raise funds to assist needy children in their studies.
