The scheme was introduced in January 2026. It is to support deserving malay/muslim students, prioritising those from financially disadvantaged families, enrolled in local Institutes of Technical Education (ITEs). It is to encourage these students to continue to excel in their studies.

Application Period

18 Jan 2026 – 30 Apr 2026 (Academic Year : Apr 2026 - Feb 2027)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Malay/Muslim, Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
2. Has achieved outstanding results in his/her academic studies :
   1. Obtained a term grade point average (GPA) of not less than 2.0 of 4.0 for the latest term, or
   2. Grade equivalent for other national level examinations, and/or
   3. Pursuing/will pursue full time Maritime or Engineering courses in the following institution:
      1. ITE College East
      2. ITE College West
      3. ITE Central
3. Has a household per capita income (PCI) of $1,000 and below
4. Not in receipt of any other bursaries or scholarships
