Education Trust Fund-Merchant Bursary

The ETF-Merchant Primary School Bursary Award supports students from low-income families to excel academically and successfully complete their primary school education. It helps cover essential education expenses such as assessment books, reading materials, school field trips, daily pocket money, and transport costs.

Eligibility Criteria

Your child must meet all these criteria:

• Malay/Muslim Singaporean or Permanent Resident
• Achieved a minimum grade of AL 6 or better in at least two subjects
• Primary 3 to Primary 6 student
• Meet at least one of these income criteria:
  
  • Current year recipient of MOE FAS
  • Current year recipient of MSF ComCare
  • Current year recipient of MUIS Zakat
  • Family's gross monthly Per Capita Income (PCI) ≤ $1000

Application Period

Opening mid-June 2026.

Application is by invitation only. All applications must be submitted online via MyMENDAKI portal.

Processing Timeline

• MENDAKI will process and consider all applications
• Applications typically take 2-4 weeks to process
• Processing begins only when all required documents are received
• MENDAKI may request additional supporting documents if needed
• Incomplete applications or those not meeting eligibility criteria will not be approved
