The scheme was introduced in April 2022 to support and encourage deserving Muslim students from financially disadvantaged families who are enrolled in any of the six autonomous universities in Singapore studying in the fields related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Software Engineering to excel in their studies.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Malay/Muslim Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) of Singapore.
- Have obtained full time admission to a degree programme in Singapore in the fields related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science and Mathematics offered by any of the following autonomous Universities:
- National University Singapore (NUS)
- Nanyang Technology University (NTU)
- Singapore Management University (SMU)
- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
- Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD)
- Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
- Has achieved outstanding results in his/her academic studies (GCE ‘A’ Level, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic Diploma or NUS High diploma).
- Not in receipt of any other scholarships.

Terms and Conditions
- Preference shall be given to applicants who are willing to undertake an internship with Bitsmedia (if an external internship is part of their course curriculum).
- Applicants from the low-income family will be given priority.
- Only complete applications with all mandatory documents provided will be processed. Applications that do not fulfill the eligibility requirements will be rejected.
- Applicants will be shortlisted based on a competitive evaluation among eligible applicants. Do note that fulfilling the eligibility requirements does not automatically result in an award.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
- The Scholarship is intended to support the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for institution-organised educational activities.
- Recipients must re-apply to be considered for the Scholarship in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the eligibility criteria.

- In no more than 250 words, share your achievements & outline your goals for the next 5 & 10 years.
- Other supporting documents if any.

- Shortlisted applicants will be notified.
