If you are passionate about contributing to the community, the MENDAKI Talent Scholarship is for you.
This scholarship is for Malay/Muslim students with strong academic achievements, leadership qualities and a desire to build a career in social service. By becoming part of MENDAKI, you will be equipped with the skills and experiences to drive meaningful change in society.
MENDAKI Talent Scholarship covers:
a. Tuition & Fees: Up to $25,000 per year.
b. Monthly Allowance: $1,000 monthly for the entire duration of the course.
c. Learning Opportunities: Up to $10,000 per year for participation in overseas exchange programmes, summer schools and relevant programmes organised by MENDAKI
*For applicants eligible for the Tertiary Tuition Fees Subsidy (TTFS), the scholarship covers only the difference in tuition fees not covered by TTFS.
Bond Period
The bond period is three (3) years for a degree programme.
Learning Opportunities During University Breaks
- Structured Internship
You will complete a 4 to 8-week internship with MENDAKI’s relevant departments each year. This provides real-world experience and allows you to apply your academic learning. If your course already includes an internship with another organisation, this requirement will be excused.
- Mentoring
You will be matched with a trained young professional in your field, using MENDAKI’s Gift-Centred Mentoring philosophy, to guide and support your development.
- Future-Ready Programme
You will be invited to participate in MENDAKI’S Future-Ready programmes such as “Future of Series” workshops, Next Stop seminars and #MakingConnections event which provide exposure to the latest developments in the job market and networking opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Malay/Muslim Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents of Singapore.
- Have obtained admission to do a full-time degree programme in one of the following universities in Singapore:
- National University Singapore (NUS)
- Nanyang Technology University (NTU)
- Singapore Management University (SMU)
- Singapore Institute of Management (SIM)
- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
- Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD); or
- Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
- Have obtained outstanding results in:
- GCE ‘A’ level with three (3) distinctions (including General Paper);
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum aggregate of 37 points;
- Polytechnic diploma with a Certificate of Merit; and/or
- Equivalent qualification.
- Have completed National Service for male applicants.
- Have good records of active participation in co-curricular activities.
Conditions
- You will only be considered once all required documents are submitted.
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview(s). Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
