Introduction
ETF School Assistance Scheme is a one-off education subsidy provided for Malay/Muslims students from low income families who are attending MENDAKI-funded tuition programmes. It aims to complement existing assistance schemes provided at the national level such as MOE-Financial Assistance Scheme.
Type of subsidy
With effect from January 2020, ETF-SAS will be in the form of vouchers and transport credit. The value of the vouchers and transport credit is as follows.

Application
Students may apply for ETF during MTS Registration Exercise. Application closes on 31 January 2020. Click here for details.

Disbursement
Disbursement of ETF-SAS will be carried in two parts (table below). Only students who obtained at least 85% attendance in MTS/CTP will qualify for the 2nd disbursement.

Students are encouraged to utilise ETF-SAS for purchase of education resources to supplement their learning needs in school such as assessment books. The transport credit of $10/month will enable students to travel for tuition regularly.
