Yayasan MENDAKI (Council for the Development of Singapore Malay/Muslim Community) is a pioneer Self-Help Group formed in 1982 dedicated to empower the community through excellence in education, in the context of a multi-racial and multi-religious Singapore.
🌟CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL AWARD RECIPIENTS🌟Last Saturday, we celebrated the achievements of more than 300 students during the second part of this year's Anugerah MENDAKI. The event was graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development and Minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration, and hosted by Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social & Family Development, Second Minister for Health, Minister-In-Charge of Muslim Affairs & Chairman of Yayasan MENDAKI.The event also saw the award presentation for Anugerah Gemilang MENDAKI, Academic Achievement Award and the Special Achievement Award for Excellence (Non-Academic). The recipients, their families, and our GOH and VIPs were treated to captivating performances from Anugerah Belia Cemerlang recipients, Noryn Razali, and Raihan Syahmi alongside his father, Mr Abdul Hadi, as well as Jazz Association Singapore. Held this past Sunday, the Education Trust Fund (ETF) - Aziz Merchant Primary School Bursary Award celebrated the achievements of close to 100 students, recognizing their academic excellence. Established in 2007 by Professor Aziz Amirali Merchant and Dr Reshma Aziz Merchant, the bursary has disbursed over half a million dollars, benefiting more than 1,000 students.
