PIXEL Labs encourages innovative thinking and tinkering.

Have a hand at making your own prototypes with the latest technology and applications such as 3D printing, programming and microcontrollers.

You can also join organised sessions held in the studios here.  

There is also a multimedia filming space equipped with a camera and a green screen.

The facility is free. To use it, simply register at the information counter!

As part of their recent facelift, Yishun Public Library was re-launched with 7 Learning Pods as one of its swanking new facilities.

Each Learning Pod is equipped with a touchscreen eLearning – LyndaLibrary – an online library with over 5,000 video tutorials covering topics ranging from business, creative design and technology.

These range from Microsoft Excel weekly tips, Mobile Photography, and even Video Editing.

Smart Work Centres

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you’re a freelancer or a budding entrepreneur, and you’re looking for your own workspace near your home, Smart Work Centres is the answer to your prayers.

Launched in 2014, SWCs is equipped with printers, photocopy machines, video conference facilities and WiFi.

There are private cubicles and common tables to fit your needs. Prices range from $20/day for a desk to $399/month for a cubicle.

Volunteering sometimes recounts memories of secondary school days where we were made to awkwardly stand at random locations, holding tin cans.

You’d be happy to know that’s not the only form of volunteering.

KelasMateMatika (KMM) trainers and facilitators play an important role in educating parents with different learning approaches through effective interaction and engaging children in exploring early numeracy concepts.

HAVE A BALL OF A TIME AT THE NEWLY OPENED SUPERPARK

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You would have heard by now of the highly raved SuperPark, a mega indoor activity park that promises unstoppable fun for people of all ages.

Hailing from Finland, SuperPark Singapore opened its first branch at Suntec City on 17 November.

Featuring  20 heart-pumping activity stations, the inspiration behind SuperPark was sparked by Taneli Sutinen, a Finnish father who had a challenging time navigating an indoor activity park with his daughter.

Essentially, SuperPark was born from the simple idea that families could get active and have fun together indoors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But this SuperPark is not just families. To ensure it caters to everyone, it’s divided into 3 zones – Adventure Area, Game Arena, and Freestyle Hall.

Adventure Area caters for the younger ones, with activities like Kid’s Gym, a Freestyle Area complete with trampolines, foam pit and climbing walls, and a Tube Slide.

Game Arena is for team sports featuring baseball, basketball, superball and the likes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, the Freestyle Hall for those who’d like a challenge. Featuring an Augmented Climbing Wall, a rock-climbing wall that uses games to increase the challenge, a Skate and Scoot World, and a Gymnastic Area.
